A New Insight into Reliability Data Modeling with an Exponentiated Composite Exponential-Pareto Model

It is observed that, for some of the data in engineering and medical fields, hazard rates increase to a high peak at beginning quickly decrease low level. In context survival analysis, such rate called upside-down bathtub rate. this paper, we investigated properties model named exponentiated exponential-Pareto distribution. The was recently proposed applied insurance data. We demonstrated that has bathtub-shaped with specific choices parameters. theoretical as moments, functions, functions were derived. parameter estimation procedures also introduced. then briefly discussed goodness-of-fit tests simulations. Finally, time-to-event set along comparison performances previous existing models. When compared models, good performance when fitting sets.
